INTERCOLLEGE CYPRUS

SHORT PRESENTATION

Intercollege is the main private provider of tertiary education in Cyprus. Intercollege currently has 51 programmes accredited by the Cypriot Ministry of Education, a number that represents about 40% of all accredited programmes in Cyprus. Accredited degrees are considered equivalent in standard to degrees of international universities (in the UK, USA etc.,) and allow students to apply for a number of prestigious jobs both within the private and public sector. Intercollege plans to become a university in the medium term future, which would make it the first private University in Cyprus.
Today the majority of programmes on offer are academic and only five can be considered vocational. The College is gradually increasing its emphasis on research. Intercollege is international in philosophy, development and outlook and strives to enhance opportunities for education and understanding between people of different cultures. The College aims to promote both high academic standards as well as cultural and social competencies in students.
