TECHNOLOGICAL RAILWAY HIGH SCHOOL
ROMANIA

SHORT PRESENTATION

The Technological Railway High School can be traced back 30 years ago .
We are a vocational high school, but deliver both accademical and vocational education. We prepare students for the railways professions.
We are located in the industrial area of the city of Iasi , Eastern Romania.
Our students are mainly boys -due to the field they are prepared for railways. We treat especially the students with special needs: the desabled ones-who are integrated in the educational process , and others with social and economical problems. We try to deal everything together and to strengthen the links between school and families.
We've been trying to improve the civic and ecological education taking into account the standards of Europe and the level of our industry development. Our students have also religions classes: both Orthodox ( most of the pupils are Christian Orthodox), and Catholic. Even our religions development is very alike the European one. Besides, our city, Iasi, is religiously considered to be one of the points of the European cross of religious relics pilgrimage.
We are highly helped in the process of education by the Railroad Regional and by Community Authorities.
