SHORT PRESENTATION

The Science and Research Centre of the Republic of Slovenia Koper (SRC Koper) is a public research institution member of University of Primorska as basic nucleus of research activities.
By creating new young scientists in the future, it will make possible a more successful and rational enlargement, a detailed study of scientific areas and therefore, it will ensure quality in forming new study programmes. As a part of the University of Primorska region, SRC Koper will not only offer support in the area of education to the existing and future graduate and post-graduate study programmes, but it also has an opportunity to independently form and implement study programmes, especially at the post-graduate level, which may eventually develop into good undergraduate programmes.

SPECIFIC TASKS IN "INSULA EUROPAE" PROJECT

• Analysis of the operative record of work and its validation
  
• Participating in the Dissemination Team and supporting the spread of results through the EIC network (European Info Centre)
  
• Analysis of national teaching systems
  
• Consultations with school or institutional authorities to receive advice
  
• Collaborating with partners to define the "European culture and literature" curriculum
  
• Collaborating to develop online didactic material
  
• Collaborating to develop the "modulo exempla" for students studying the areas subject to the project
  
• National testing of the "modulo exempla" with the participating institutes in the project not benefiting from the Socrates grant (see appendix 2)
  
• Organising "e-learning classrooms" in Slovenia (teacher training)
  
• Tutoring and mentoring online didactic work performed in Slovenia
  
• Supervising national testing
  
• Monitoring the results of the teaching at national level
  
• Organising tasks to diffuse and improve the syllabuses at national level
  
• Realising the intermediate report on the results of the trial (modulo exempla and online courses for teachers and students)
  
• Collaborating in the drafting of the online newsletters
  Translation of documents produced into English, the official language of the project
